I had a great time with you in Finca La Tierra!
Seen, felt, experienced and gained so much insight.
I can recommend it to anyone who wants to be more aware and calm in life.
I absolutely enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the wonderful space, your hospitality and of course the company of Beno and the cats.
The beautiful conversations with you have brought me so much. I still feel very calm. I now know how to ask myself the right questions in the various moments of unrest (which there haven't been many yet).
With a "strong back and open heart" I experienced this week at home.
Your words are now a beautiful affirmation for me.
And then the series of yoga poses I did with you, also so nice!
I have added them to my morning ritual. This week I got on my mat every morning at half past six. With the candles lit and incense I do a short meditation and the series of standing postures and some sitting. I'll see if/when I expand it later. Then the squeezed lemon, tea and the cold shower. This is how I start my day positively energetic, the boys even noticed.
Marina, I want to thank you again for so much beautiful energy, your knowledge and wisdom and the push to go out alone. To make myself feel strong and confident. To enjoy myself on my own. So special!

Luego el limón exprimido, el té y la ducha fría. Así es como comienzo mi día positivamente enérgico, incluso los chicos lo notaron.

So close to the sea and beach, yet far away from it all when back at la Tierra and being surrounded by nothing but plants, flowers, and sounds of nature. It has been wonderful to also spend some days around the house, soaking in all the beauty and peacefulness and discovering and learning about everything la Tierra has to offer. You can feel the care and love that has been put into la Tierra both inside and out. And in such good company, it’s not hard to feel at home. You’ve made us feel so welcome! After a few days back home we still feel very well rested and inspired by what we’ve learned about and from you (brainstorming about our own regenerative balcony garden as we speak). We’re already very much missing ‘our’ spot by the pool though, so, to be continued..."

Cuando decido hacer este viaje a Back to la Tierra, no me esperaba ni por asomo que iba a ser una experiencia tan gratificante y plena en todos los sentidos.
No es sólo el entorno, que lo es, no es sólo la luz maravillosa del sur, que también lo es, es un conjunto de todo, pero sobre todo es el cariño y el amor que Marina y Paul han puesto en este proyecto para que a través de su generosidad, el resto de las personas que queramos compartir momentos únicos, podamos hacerlo.
Marina es tan especial que únicamente con mirarme sabía y entendió que tipo de práctica necesitaba en el día, eso lo hace único!!! Sabe transmitir paz y serenidad a través de sus palabras en un entorno mágico, dentro de una carpa con olor a incienso y lavanda.
Paul junto con su hijo Sebastian, dan forma a un proyecto generoso para el medio ambiente, para la naturaleza y para las personas porque gracias a ellos he visto la tierra que piso de una manera diferente como hasta ahora, entendiendo que todo lo que hay debajo de mis pies tiene vida y da vida a los que nos movemos en ella.
Y por si esto fuera poco, la guinda la pone el arte que rezuma en todo su hogar, las obras de Paul están repartidas por cada rincón, esos cuadros llenos de sentimiento luz y color acordes a esta tierra que me ha dado momentos de soledad, quietud, amor, paz y conocimiento de mi ser …..

"Organice mi retiro espiritual, meditación en la finca Back to la Tierra en Julio 2020. Una de las mejores cosas que me ha pasado este año fue encontrarme con ellos. El principio que me llamó la atención fue que está muy cerca a Mijas y Fuengirola pero a la vez está “lejos” de todo. Es una finca escondida en la naturaleza, llena de árboles y plantas.
Marina y Paul son un encanto, dan una magia al sitio. La paz, tranquilidad que están transmitiendo es única. Nada más llegar, empiezas a transformar.
El jardín es enorme y precioso, chorro de agua, carpa de meditación y yoga, una piscina grande estilo Andaluz. Las habitaciones y baños amplios con estilo de Andaluz también. Precioso!!!
Fue una gran parte del éxito de retiro el sitio. Todo fue perfecto y mágico.
Quiero agradecer a Marina y Paul todo el trabajo que hacen para mantener este lugar tan especial, todas las personas que entran a la Finca salen como nuevas."

"I organised my spiritual retreat meditation at the Back to La Tierra retreat in July 2020. One of the best things that happened to me this year was meeting them. The first thing that caught my attention was that it is very close to Mijas and Fuengirola but at the same time it is "far" from everything. It is a farm hidden in nature, full of trees and plants.
Marina and Paul are charming, they give a magic to the place. The peace, tranquility that they are transmitting is unique. As soon as you arrive, you begin to transform.
The garden is huge and beautiful, pond, meditation and yoga tent, a large Andalusian-style pool. The spacious rooms and bathrooms with Andalusian style too. Beautiful!!!
It was a big part of the success of the retreat. Everything was perfect and magical.
I want to thank Marina and Paul for all the work they do to maintain this special place, all the people who enter the Finca leave as new.

Perfect for peace and quiet. Wonderful hosts with lovely touches like fresh filtered water and produce from the garden in our studio. Delightful little place. Would recommend a car but had no problems with taxis arriving in under 10 mins - costs around 10 euros to travel to Fuengirola

Un lugar con encanto, como sus propietarios Marina y Paul, sois encantadores... Marina nos hizo sentir unos privilegiados al compartir su "tierra" con nosotros. Nos obsequió con detalles maravillosos... un entorno mágico al que sin duda volveremos... lo recomiendo muchisimo. A tan sólo 7 minutos del centro y de la playa de Fuengirola y a 5 minutos de Mijas Pueblo.

We had a perfect stay at Marina and Paul’s studio apartment and would highly recommend a visit for anyone looking for a special getaway!!! The place is a beautiful and quiet retreat just outside of Mijas and a short drive from Fuengirola and Malaga. The studio apartment itself is spacious with ample storage and is well stocked with a very comfy double bed, kitchenette and bathroom. The hosts are absolutely lovely and very welcoming and helpful. They were on hand during the week to help answer any questions while still respecting our own privacy. Paul has a wonderful art studio while Marina offers yoga in the yoga tent by the pond in their lovely garden. The property is accessible by taxi but for ease, we would recommend getting a car (La Caramba was recommended and a good company). The place is perfectly located to explore the region (by car) and we did day trips to Nerja, Ronda, Fuengirola, Marbella and Malaga as well as enjoying days by the pool. Can’t recommend this place enough and we look forward to returning! Hannah & Zoë

Back to la Tierra is a great airbnb with special hosts. We enjoyed inspiring talks, beautiful yoga sessions and a relaxing place with a huge pool, lovely goats and chicken in the garden, close enough to shops and beaches and still an oasis! We are sure we will be back!

Back to La Tierra is a place where your inner peace is allowed "to be". Inner peace complemented by peaceful surroundings. Our most restful and relaxing time during our travels in Spain (Madrid, Malaga, Galicia, Gijon, San Sebastian and *Portugal) were at Back to La Tierra. The peace, the coffee under the poolside lounge bed, the raw linen bed sheets, the pleasant temperature of the place (regardless of the summer heat - no need for turning on the a/c) and Marina's attention to detail can be seen in every corner (even in the dishwashing sink). Marina and Paul are extremely respectful of privacy. My only complaint is we did not get to share more time with them ;) they are the kind of people that make you gravitate towards them.

Marina y su marido Paul fueron muy amables y respondieron rápido a todas nuestras peticiones. El studio es encantador, está muy limpio y tiene las cosas necesarias para cocinar un poquito. El jardín , piscina y ubicación de la casa es genial , paz total. La verdad es que la elección de este airbnb fue lo mejor de nuestro viaje a Málaga. Muchas gracias por todo y nos vemos pronto Marina!!!

It’s so special: relaxed and sunny and respectful for everything that grows/flows... Beauty is in every detail to see (paintings, tiles, authentic furniture, comfi linen, lemon and orangetrees, the Yogatent, the pool, the garden, the pond) but also in the experience of walking around, being here. Caring is very subtile with eggs from their own chickens, filtered natural cleaned water and still excellent WiFi. Solar-polar lights in the evening...why aren’t we living here? A throw away from the AirPort and near to the sea...special beaches, markets, vibrant places...Marina and Paul share it, so we felt a little bit local :)) Heerlijke plek...echt zo fijn hier! Overal aan gedacht en toch zoooo relaxed, alsof het vanzelfsprekend is.

Ons verblijf bij Back to la Tierra was fántastisch, Prachtige plek, sùper vibe, relaxt, en 'n schitterende accommodatie ( sienna suite ) alle ruimte, Lekker om in alle rust n boek te lezen bij het zwembad op de heerlijke loungebanken, maar ook de mogelijkheid om n praatje te maken met andere mensen met n Lèkkere bak koffie, Bij aankomst ( s'nachts ) stonden er al van allerhande lekkere dingetjes klaar voor de eerste dag, heel fijn!!! En s'ochtends lekkere yoga les in de bell-tent ( tè gek, tussen t gefluit van de vogels en t ruisen an het riet!!!!!) Veel goede tips gekregen wbt omgeving en eettentjes van Paul en marina, Oprecht betrokken wbt natuur, de tuin ( n understatement) is nog bezig te ontstaan, maar laat nu al 'n voorproefje zien van hoe we in de toekomst eigenlijk allemaal met natuur zouden moeten omgaan, goede inspirerende uitleg over de Permacultuur techniek, prachtig!!!!! Resumé: We baalden enorm dat we er maar 5 dagen waren, 5 weken was beter geweest! Wát 'n verstopt juweel!

Wij hebben onwijs genoten van ons verblijf in The Ochre Suite van Back to la Tierra. De ruimte is heel fijn ingericht, het bed ligt erg lekker en de douche is heerlijk. Daarnaast is deze plek echt ontzettend fijn om tot rust te komen. Het is heerlijk vertoeven aan het zwembad (met genoeg zitjes en ligbedden), de omliggende tuin is prachtig en ontbijten in de zon met verse koffie kan nergens beter. Het is de perfecte combinatie tussen rust en drukte, want met de auto rij je gemakkelijk naar meerdere leuke dorpjes in de buurt. De gastvrijheid van Marina en Paul (heel erg leuk om jullie te leren kennen!) maakt dit volgens ons de perfecte getaway en wij hopen zeker in de toekomst nogmaals terug te mogen komen.

We had such an excellent time at Back to La Tierra Finca and felt so so relaxed and at home. Thank you for making us feel welcome and at home there. We really enjoyed exploring the various parts of the beautiful grounds, especially the hammock by the pond and the wonderful pool area ! Although the studio space may seem space small , it was more than comfortable for the two of us and had everything we needed to cook all our meals during our stay. It felt very private and as if we were just there by ourselves ! Marina and Paul were very helpful and gracious hosts, very sweetly Marina even offered us a lift down to town. We would definitely recommend staying there ! Just to say again thank you so much for a lovely stay at your beautiful home ! We would love come back one day !

Back to la tierra is een fantastisch vakantie adresje! Heerlijk rustig en toch overal dichtbij! Wij logeerden in de sfeervolle en prima ingerichte Sand studio! Een super gastvrije ontvangst en goede tips van Paul en Marina om de omgeving te verkennen. Wandelen in natuurpark El Torcal of naar het Alhambra in Granada! Het binnenland is prachtig en vanaf Back to la tierra ben je snel bij het strand. Wij kunnen het iedereen aanraden die houdt van rust, een prettige sfeer en heel veel mogelijkheden dichtbij!

Wat een prachtplek, een oase een paar kilometer van de kust, vlak bij het mooie witte dorpje Mijas Pueblo. Zeer stijlvolle studio met alles erop en eraan, in een bijzonder inspirerende omgeving. Met bijzondere tuin, en zwembad dat we helemaal voor onszelf hadden, wat een privacy! Bovendien mochten we aanschuiven aan de table d'hôte met twee andere gasten. De fantastische kookkunsten en het goede gezelschap van Marina, Paul en de anderen maakten ons bezoek absoluut tot een onvergetelijke en inspirerende ervaring!

Heel fijn plekje op 20 minuten van vliegveld Malaga, en toch weg van alle drukte. Marina en Paul zijn 2 inspirerende mensen en hebben een geweldig 4 pers appartement en 2 pers studio gecreëerd. Met vlak beneden je de sinaasappelgaard op basis van permacultuur, en naast je het zwembad met fijne ligplekken. Alles is aanwezig om heerlijk genieten en ontspannen. Ook binnen is het met veel zorg ingericht en de gastvrijheid en behulpzaamheid van Marina en Paul zijn precies de fijne mix van genoeg privacy en je toch in de watten gelegd voelen. De locatie, vlakbij Mijas is perfect voor leuke uitstapjes naar bijv Ronda, Antequerra, Malaga. Doe zeker ook de wandeling in El Torcal!
